Intake Process

Reach Out
Your journey with WonderABA begins with a simple first step: reaching out. Families can submit our online intake form to be added to our system and begin the process immediately. If speaking with someone feels more comfortable, our team is always available by phone. No matter how you contact us, you will be connected with a dedicated Care Coordinator who will answer your questions, explain how ABA therapy works, and guide you through the next steps.

Insurance Verification
Understanding insurance benefits can feel overwhelming, so our goal is to make this part of the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. We handle the verification of your plan, review the information we receive from your provider, and clearly explain any potential out-of-pocket costs such as deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, or out-of-pocket maximums. Our role is to help you feel confident and informed before moving forward.

Evaluation
Once your benefits are confirmed, your child will participate in a comprehensive evaluation led by our clinical team. This evaluation focuses on areas such as behavior, communication, play, and social development. We conduct assessments in a naturalistic environment using play-based methods and direct instruction to ensure we understand your child’s authentic strengths and needs. After the evaluation, we walk you through our clinical impressions, discuss what a personalized treatment plan may include, and provide you with a full copy of the report.

Therapy
Before therapy officially begins, we assemble a personalized Care Team for your child. You will meet the clinicians who will be working one-on-one with your child and supporting your family throughout the process. All services are supervised by a licensed LABA and BCBA and delivered by well-trained Behavior Technicians who follow a carefully designed treatment plan. Our team continuously collects data during sessions to monitor progress and adjust goals as needed. You will be involved in ongoing parent meetings where we share updates, review milestones, and collaborate on the next steps in your child’s growth.
